The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico is the largest nonprofit food bank that serves Curry, Roosevelt, De Baca, Quay and Guadalupe Counties in eastern New Mexico. We have the following opportunities to join our team:

Part-Time Position: Warehouse Maintenance Associate
Close Date: Open until position is filled
Location: Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico, Clovis NM
Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Part-Time Position (25 hours a week)
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico is seeking an onsite part-time Warehouse Maintenance Associate to join our team. This essential role helps us keep our warehouse clean, organized, and operating safely so we can better serve our community. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and can be flexible according to need. Monday through Friday. The primary office and warehouse location is in Clovis, NM.
Essential job functions:

Daily cleaning of warehouse areas
-
Organizing pallets and sorting food donations
-
Monitoring and documenting temperature logs
-
General maintenance tasks as needed
-
Maintaining pest control and sanitation logs

Assists and/or fills in for other personnel when necessary
-
Other duties assigned

Minimal travel may be required
Qualifications:
-
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Ability to use Google Calendar, Google Chat and email.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, walk and stand for long periods of time.

Flexibility and willing to perform any and all tasks that elevate and promote the mission of the organization.

Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with other staff, clients and other organizations.

Ability to take initiative, exercise discretion, and sound judgment.
Work Environment:

This position works in a warehouse environment exposed to varying temperatures.

Requires physical activity including bending, lifting, walking and standing.

Will involve exposure to cleaning materials and equipment.
