At The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico, our top priority is making sure the information we have about you is protected and secure. The Food Bank of  Eastern New Mexico obtains nonpublic personal information about you in the following manners:

• From you or your representative on forms and agreements (examples include verifying information such as name and address).

• From transactional activity (examples include contributions and grant recommendations).

• From other sources with your consent or with the consent of your representative (for example, from other institutions if you transfer securities or funds to us).
   

Using Nonpublic Personal Information

The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico shares nonpublic personal information with companies outside of the Food Bank to perform services on our behalf, such as auditors, banks, investment houses, attorneys and accountants. Primarily, we share your verifying information. We may also share nonpublic personal information to process transactions, respond to your inquiries, or to provide information about the services we offer. The law requires us to share nonpublic personal information about our current and former donors with government agencies or authorized third parties under certain circumstances. For example, we may be required to share nonpublic personal information in response to subpoenas or to comply with certain laws.

The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico does not sell donor names or information to any firm or non-profit organization. We do not share your nonpublic personal information with any firm or non-profit organization for its fundraising or any other purpose. Within the Food Bank, we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know the information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
