FOOD BANK RECOGNIZES AREA PARTNERS FOR HOLIDAY SEASON

file0001266491232This holiday season the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico is pleased to announce our partnerships with the following organizations and businesses. Their efforts help combine community and this region’s continuing need for hunger relief. If your organization would like to host a food drive or partnership, contact the Food Bank at 575-763-6130.

o How you can help: Now through Dec. 12 purchase a carpet cleaning for one room and with a donation of 5 cans of food, get a second room cleaned for free.

o How you can help: From Dec. 12 through Dec. 22 receive a box of popcorn with every Weekend Food for Kids Backpack Program food item donated. A donation bin is located in the theater’s foyer.

o How you can help: Through December they are accepting food and monetary donations to purchase pudding to be used for The Weekend Food for Kids Backpack Program.

 Albertsons o How you can help: Through Dec. 3 through Dec. 16, guests can add a Santa Bucks cash donation of $1, $5 or $10 to their grocery purchase during checkout to meal boxes for the holiday for area families.

In its 31st year, the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico partners with 25 schools and 32 agencies to deliver emergency food to families and individuals in Curry, Roosevelt, Quay, De Baca, Guadalupe and Torrance counties in eastern New Mexico.
