Special Distribution in Roosevelt County

Specil distribution posterThe Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico is expanding its services in Roosevelt County by hosting a Special Food Distribution at 1 pm, Monday, July 28, at the Portales Memorial Building, 200 E. 7th Street.

The food distribution will be open to qualified individuals living in the Portales area who are not currently being served at another food distribution site. All food recipients will be asked to fill out an income eligibility form required by The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).

Each household will receive 40 plus pounds of a combination of perishable and non-perishable food.

The distribution will be facilitated by the Food Bank’s staff. The Food Bank’s facility in Clovis will be closed for the business day to allow for the distribution.

Anyone who would like to volunteer with the distribution can contact the Food Bank at 575-763-6130. Any donations in advance of the distribution are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the Food Bank at 2217 Brady in Clovis.

Food Bank releases 2013 Annual Report

The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico has released its annual report for fiscal year 2012-2013. The report highlights information about:

  • The Food Bank’s mission and how it operates
  • All of the organization’s programs
  • Data  regarding food distributions for the fiscal year
  • A listing of the Food Bank’s partner agencies
  • Information about donation opportunities

“The Food Bank’s Annual Report is our gift to all of our supporters. It is a way to look back on the past year and see how their contributions helped people all over Eastern New Mexico,” said Food Bank Executive Director MelindaJoy Pattison.

The report will be mailed to all donors and partner agencies.
