Blue Cross Blue Shield New Mexico, Walgreens team up to offer flu shots

BCBSNM Care VanBlue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) President Kurt Shipley and BCBSNM representatives will be visiting the Food Bank Oct. 18 and making a grant contribution to the organization for $10,100. The funding will be used to carry forward the Food Bank’s programs in Eastern New Mexico.

BCBSNM will arrive at 11 a.m. and set up the BCBSNM Care Van at the Food Bank, located at 2217 Brady in Clovis. The Care Van and Walgreens will be administering free flu shots to all area residents. At noon, the BCBSNM President Shipley will make a presentation of funds to the Food Bank’s Board of Directors and Staff. All area residents are welcome to attend and are encouraged to receive their flu shots.
